Build on what matters
You know what happens after someone makes a promise. There’s time to set aside, details to check, and work somebody will need to do. How do you keep that care for doing things well without becoming the person who handles every loose end?
A 120-page illustrated book that explores the ISTJ personality through Jungian functions and connects them to the decisions and relationships in your daily life.

You recognize the four letters. What comes next?
ISTJs are often introduced as serious, organized, and traditional. You might recognize parts of that description and still wonder what it actually explains. It doesn’t tell you what catches your attention, why a previous experience comes to mind when you’re deciding, or what would make you reconsider. Those are the questions I want to explore. We’ll start with ordinary situations: picking up a project, explaining a method, keeping an agreement, or realizing a familiar routine no longer works quite as well.
I wrote this book to give the questions more room than a quick personality description can. You’ll find explanations of Si, Te, Fi, and Ne, scenes to think through, comparisons with neighboring types, and a notebook for returning to your own experiences. You don’t need to recognize yourself on every page. The parts that don’t fit can help you understand your own pattern more clearly.
- Explore Si beyond the perfect-memory stereotype, including personal impressions, reference points, and their limits.
- See how Te supports organized action, and distinguish a useful standard from a rule that has become automatic.
- Make room for personal values through Fi and alternative possibilities through Ne, without trying to become someone else.
- Work through four weeks of observation: compare experiences, share a method, express a boundary, and try a limited change.

Si · Te · Fi · Ne

Get a feel for the book before you decide
Gabriel returns to the neighborhood board-game lending library after months of closure. He knows the games, the old routines, and the problems with late returns. Louise wants to welcome visitors; Samir suggests playing outside. Across this fictional story, the three decide what to keep, what to change, and what they can realistically promise. The scenes open up questions about the functions. Gabriel isn’t meant to stand for every ISTJ.

Before you download
Do I need to be certain of my type?
No. Treat the descriptions as ideas to compare with your experience. If you’re unsure, start with the ISTJ profile and the free preview.
What will I receive?
The 120-page illustrated PDF in English. It uses a fixed A5 layout, so you may need to zoom on a phone. This is not a reflowable EPUB or a printed book.
Do the website tests now cost money?
No. The questionnaires and their results remain free. The price applies only to this digital book.
Does the purchase include both languages?
Each language edition is sold separately. Choose the language you prefer to read; both editions follow the same underlying path.
Will this book establish my personality type?
It gives you ideas for examining your patterns. It does not certify a type or provide a diagnosis, and the exercises do not prescribe a result you must achieve.
